About Me

I am a nationally certified and licensed massage therapist and a certified member of Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals.  I am a graduate of Bancroft School of Massage Therapy in Worcester, MA, where I received some of the best education in massage you can find.  In addition, I have advanced training and certification in pregnancy, labor and postpartum massage, the Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal Therapy, and therapeutic massage for clients with cancer. I also have a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from WPI and a degree in Orthotics from California State University. Believe it or not, I have found these degrees all have some relation to each other!

Giving massage to others benefits me as much as receiving massage. It's almost like meditation! (Which, let's be honest, I don't manage to do very often - I don't know about you.) Many years ago I received massage simply for the physical benefits. The more I have experienced massage, giving and receiving, the more I look to it to nurture my mind and spirit as well. I am never disappointed, and I believe you will not be either. I know, with all the issues we face as women, how invaluable massage can be to keep us healthy and in balance. I love sharing the benefits of massage with women at all stages of life and helping them along their path to wellness. I am also happy to provide massage to their families.

I enjoy walking, hiking, yoga, Ayurveda, gardening, reading, knitting, jewelry making and desserts. Desserts especially. I am married and have three children (they like dessert too, with a passion).
