Will you think I’m strange if I do/don’t remove all my clothes?
I will not think you are strange for either reason! You need to do whatever makes you feel most comfortable. That could mean taking everything off or leaving everything on. You will always be draped except for the part of your body on which I am working. It is easier for me to work on certain areas if you are fully undressed, but I do not mind working around clothing or undergarments if that is what is comfortable for you. My number one priority when working with you is to make sure you feel safe and comfortable which in turn produces the best treatment! Just for your information, other people keep varying amounts of clothing on, and you should do whatever feels best for you.
Do you care if I shave my legs, do my hair, or if my back is broken out? Will you tell anyone about these things?
No and no. I see people with all different things going on, and I don’t pay any attention to what your hair looks like or if your legs are shaved. Your massage will be the same. The only time I care if you have a breakout is if I feel that massage is contraindicated in any way. I have no judgment about how you look, just how you feel during and after your massage. I want that to be “terrific”! I do not discuss anything about you with anyone else. In fact I do not share that you are a client of mine with anyone, unless you specifically tell me you want me to. So feel free to come in looking however you want and not having any worries that I care!
I feel uncomfortable telling you if I am hot/cold or if I want more or less pressure. Do I really have to?
Yes. I am there to take care of you and make sure that you have the best experience possible. This includes knowing what temperature and pressure are best for you. I will not be upset or insulted. In fact, I would be more upset if you lay on the table during your session being cold or uncomfortable. I want you to fully enjoy and receive the benefits of your massage which is better achieved when you are not distracted by these things.
If you have any more questions do not be afraid to ask! I will do my best to answer them.
